Bob's Big Party:
The Poudre River Irregulars at Bob Cooke's Retirement Party

Recorded Jan. 7, 2011. When Bob Cooke, the band’s founder and longtime leader, announced he was retiring as leader in Dec. 2010, the band and its many friends threw him a big party. Naturally, it was held at Avogadro’s Number (Avo’s to its friends), where the band has played the first Friday of every month since 1996. Legions of fans came to the party, musician friends from all over northern Colorado sat in with the band to pay tribute to Bob, and a great time was truly had by all.
